Love one another
Jesus said, ” A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”~John 13:34-35 I’m going to share some things I’ve learned along the way in my life that changed and molded my life into what it is today and what it will help me to be tomorrow and for all eternity. Faith: Confident belief or trust in a person, idea, or thing; secure belief in God and acceptance of God’s will. Peace: Freedom from quarrels and disagreement; harmony & serenity. Love: A deep affection and warm feeling for another; a beloved person. Just think, if you just practice these three simple words and help others know them in their lives also, there would be a lot of very happy people! Not to mention how happy it would make God! I believe in all of you, that you can do anything you put your mind to. Be the very best person you can be and everyday strive to be an even better person than the day before! Some other short phrases that God has put in my life that at times has been a lifesaver; “If it’s not of God, it’s not God!” If you are trying to figure out if something is ok to do, say, think, etc. or someone or some situation is trying to guide you in a way you’re not sure of it’s probably not God or of God. If it doesn’t match up with God’s word and what He expects out of us it’s not Him, it’s satan. “Don’t believe the lies!” It goes along with what I was just talking about, satan is always trying to get us to believe some kind of lie to keep us off the path that leads us to God. Remember, the “world” is satan and all his dark angel’s stomping ground. His job is to get our eyes off of God and Jesus Christ and get us so interested in what the world has to offer that we forget the biggest offer ever made to human kind! A blessed eternity living in the presents of our living God and our Savior Jesus. I don’t want what this world has to offer, it doesn’t offer the Truth. Know your enemy (satan) and his strategies. What are your weaknesses? I bet you satan knows every one of them. And he’s counting on you to be weak so he can have a foothold on you. I will leave you for now with this beautiful truth, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” ~Philippians 4:13 Love your sister in Christ, Tina Shinn
